When you join the Grove, you’ll discover the strength in community. Because when mothers come together to navigate their journey of motherhood hand in hand, they create a nurturing circle of support that fosters friendship and shared wisdom to validate the hard moments, normalize all the changes, and work together to redefine a motherhood where everyone thrives.
In the early years of motherhood, Louise found herself feeling isolated and overwhelmed by the life of being a mother. She often felt a deep longing for a place she could relax and connect with others in her own way while her baby got a safe place to play—outside the house. As a mother, she found child-centered places were too overstimulating and bringing her child into an adult space like a coffee date felt difficult. She needed both a mother-centered and child-centered space, where everyone’s needs could be met.
As a motherhood therapist, Louise has come to understand a fundamental truth; mothers need mothers to thrive. Mothers cannot mother alone. Being alone with a baby 8-12 hours a day is not natural nor is it sustainable. Day to day, mothers need to know they are not alone in the struggle and be able share the big wins and beautiful moments. For a mother to thrive she needs to have a village of support on a regular basis.
